I bought it when I was on a trip in Los Angeles, because I liked that it looked like the notebooks people have in movies. I made a sort of light challenge for myself to only use red and grayscale for this sketchbook. This was heavily inspired by the posca pens I had gotten the christmas before. They were red, black and white but in many different sizes. I had requested that my parents focused on many different sizes instead of colors, and red, white and black was my most favorite colors to work with. I still like them, and consider them my favorite colors, but I find I do not use them in art as often as before.

Random guys. I drew this at the bar named RedRum in Slab City.

I really like the torso guy, I nned to draw him again. The guy with sweatpants was loosely inspired by one of Slab City's residents named Tom (if I remember correctly).
