Zvezdelin was born to Georgi and Evelina Kovachev.
His father Georgi had been a stalker for a brief time in his youth. Throughout Zvezdelin's childhood, he told horror stories from his encounters in the zone. His dad warned Zvezdelin and his older brother Hranimir, to never step too close to the zone. Their father struggled with alcoholism after their mother left him for another man. He did not tolerate any disobedience and Zvezdelin and his brother received beatings very often, as punishment for seemingly small wrongs like forgetting to put away the dishes or not wanting to take a bath. Hranimir was distant Zvezdelins entire life, always out at night, doing god knows what. Zvezdelin still looked up to him and always wanted to be like him. It's no surprise that when he got older, he mostly kept away from his family. He followed in his brother's footsteps and became more and more careless. He started skipping classes to hang out with his friend Innokentij. Kesha had similar thoughts and life experiences as him and they also shared an interest in dance. None of them had never met someone who they connected to on such a deep level and they quickly developed a deep friendship. Kesha was the only person Zvezdelin truly trusted. They spent most days in abandoned buildings or the forest, dancing, getting high or drunk, making general chaos or just talking about life. Teenage dirtbag supremacy.
When he turned 19 (Year 43), he had a small crisis, tried to take hold of his life and work normal jobs. He tried retail and food service, but they all drained him of energy. They were all too complicated and stressful. In this crisis, he also admitted to Kesha that he loved him and Kesha responded by throwing him out of his apartment. With no money, no education and no friends, he knew what he had left to do. He obviously knew about stalkers from his dad and had always considered it in the back of his head, but now it was his only choice.
